Python Job: Software Developer

About the Job

The position will be based in our Chennai, India office and is needed to join the core development team to help expand nSurely’s offering.

This candidate will be one of the first few hires for nSurely so will be an integral player in the growth of the company, as a result, the candidate will get a competitive salary along with stock options.

The role may see travel opportunities to nSurely’s clients around the world and regular visits to HQ in Ireland.
Responsibilities

• Be part of the core development team building out the nSurely UBI platform.

• Work with APIs and streaming data.

• Help clients roll out their UBI products by aiding them in any ad-hoc development, potentially on-site.

Must Haves

• 3+ years as a developer or consultant, preferably in the insurance, IoT or big data industries.

• Demonstrable ability with Python. Golang is a plus.

• Demonstrated experience or certification in one or more cloud providers - AWS/GCP/Azure (preferably AWS)

• PostgreSQL

Nice to Haves
We know nobody is an expert in every technology we use, but here are some skills that are worth mentioning to us if you have them!

• Experience with telematics, geospatial or satellite data

• Kubernetes and Docker

• Streams processing - Kafka/Pulsar/Flink

• FastAPI - Python

Salary: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
